INTRODUCTION
misResultados is Puerto Rico's leading e-Lab connectivity platform, connecting over 500 clinical laboratories with healthcare providers and patients since 2010. The existing website, built in 2016, had become outdated and no longer reflected the platform's capabilities. Epikom was brought in to redesign the public website and build a new credentialization dashboard used by their provider network to manage organizations, clients, and participants.
APPROACH
We started with a deep analysis of the existing platform and its three distinct user journeys. The public website redesign prioritized clear pathway cards that immediately route patients, providers, and laboratories to their specific sections, with bilingual support in Spanish and English. Trust indicators like HIPAA/HITECH compliance badges, the 500+ laboratory network, and alliance logos were given prominent placement.
For the credentialization dashboard, we designed a complete internal tool for provider management. The system features organization and client directories with search, sorting, and status management. Multi-step forms guide administrators through organization creation with address and contact information. The interface was built for clarity and efficiency, with a clean layout that reduces the learning curve for daily users across the network.
RESULTS
The redesigned platform brought misResultados into the modern era on both the public and internal sides. The new website provides a clean, trustworthy experience for patients and providers, while the credentialization dashboard streamlined operations for their network administrators. The bilingual implementation ensures accessibility for Puerto Rico's diverse population across both interfaces.
