INTRODUCTION
Cangrejeras de Santurce is a women's professional volleyball team based in Santurce, Puerto Rico. They needed a dedicated mobile app to keep their fanbase connected with live game updates, team news, and ticket purchasing. Epikom designed and developed the official iOS app from the ground up, creating a comprehensive digital experience for fans and the organization.
APPROACH
We designed a clean, intuitive mobile experience built around the team's brand identity. The app features live score tracking during games, a full season calendar with upcoming matchups, team roster with player profiles, and a news feed for the latest updates. The ticket purchasing system gives fans quick access to upcoming games directly from the app.
The UI was crafted to reflect the Cangrejeras brand with the team's navy blue and gold color scheme. Push notifications keep fans informed about game starts, score updates, and breaking news. The app architecture was built for scalability, ready to support future features as the team and league grow.
RESULTS
The Cangrejeras app launched on the App Store and quickly became the go-to platform for fans following the team. Live score tracking during games has driven high engagement, and the integrated ticket system has streamlined the purchasing experience. The app strengthens the connection between the team and its community, setting a standard for professional sports apps in Puerto Rico.
